Lots of people come to see our local village, Angle, as it's a charming little place. Our farm at Broomhill is in south Pembrokeshire, right next to the Cleddau Estuary. Me and my brother Brian are the third generation to farm here and the property is around 200 years old. We've got 300 acres, some dairy, with some corn, maize and grass to keep the cattle fed. The rest is veg, and as well as potatoes, we also supply Puffin with cauliflower, cabbage, leeks, carrots, parsnips and broccoli. Our relationship with Puffin goes way back to the 1970's. Any problems, they're almost on our doorstep. We can pick up the phone or drop in and have a chat.
This is a great area in which to live and farm, with excellent soil and sea air that produces fabulously tasty veg. Spring's the best time, when everything starts growing again.
