Blas y Tir Supports Local Schools with Free Daffodils
Blas y Tir have been supporting local Pembrokeshire Primary schools over the last few days, giving away free bunches of our Welsh National flower – just in time for mother’s day!
On Thursday 12th and Friday 13th of March Blas y Tir representatives visited eight Primary schools across Pembrokeshire offering the children free bunches of Daffodils to take home to their mums for mother’s day. Over the two days they visited Tenby, Hook, Llangwm, St. Ishmaels, Hakin, Meads Milford, Spittal and Fenton primary schools handing out a total of 1,500 bunches of Daffodils.
“It’s great to see local business putting back into the local community and supporting primary schools. All the children were delighted with their bunch of daffodils and it’s great to see them go home with a national emblem”. – Mrs Gill John, head teacher at Tenby Infants School.
For any mums out there who got a bunch on the weekend – we hope you liked them!
