County Show Madness!

A few weeks ago we attended the biggest and best county show in Wales – Pembrokeshire County Show. More than 90,000 people walked through the gates over the 3 days, and the rain managed to stay away (at least until the Thursday)!

Over the 3 days of the show we handed out thousands of samples of our delicious Pembrokeshire Earlies with butter and mint, chorizo and tomato and my favourite cheese, garlic and cream. Everyone who tried them seemed to enjoy them just as much as us!

Our roving potato mascot even made an appearance, helping to hand out samples and entertain children and families as they visited the stand.

Prior to the show, Blas y Tir were approached by the NFU Cymru to help them build a display out of our produce. We decided to take on the challenge and after many days of hard work, potatoes, veg, glue and paint we produced…

… A welsh flag! It sat in the entrance to the NFU Cymru stand, welcoming everyone in!

We all had an amazing time at the Pembrokeshire County show, and look forward to seeing you there again next year!
